No kiss on the Gondola

Little bit of a clickbait, but I thought a bit about why both actually didn’t kiss, even tho the tension was there in Loveless. Almost expected them to hug each other tight. Given that Aerith can be a little bit of a pushover, I’d expected a bit her to make a move on him.

But they didn’t. I just thought that it may go back to the resolution scene, were Aerith asked him to not fall for her? Could this be still on her mind, her fighting a bit against it, well aware of what could happen to him if she leaves that guy in that state?
