How is the economy so crazy?

Just started playing sod on crusader strike (US) and am seeing the prices of everything from common greens to services (summons, boosts, etc) and everything is so expensive..

I guess the question is good that much easier to come by now for some reason? Everything seems super inflated and can’t even buy some crappy greens
