ryan memorial park/sports complex in westwood

if you frequent this park, please make sure you at least go there in company of other people and preferably bring some self defense with you! my little brother was robbed the other day there while he was on a walk, 9 mfs in shiesties (ski masks) stole his money and then beat on him for no reason after he already gave them all he had. looking on the citizen app i can see three other robberies have happened in this park in the past 3 months, please be careful! ive lived near this park for years and have always considered it safe but i guess that’s changing.
