Renters beware- Smmarthousing LLC

Avoid renting from this company!!!!

They have properties around Cincinnati but are a fairly small operation. You will find them growing in East Walnut Hills. Luckily I’m a former renter at this point and free of retaliation. It’s common for appliances to be broken for months, safety concerns around broken locks and fake security cameras as well as building code violations.

Unannounced entry is common and management has been known to allow tenants access to their office to grab spare keys to buildings and units from their safe when the office staff is too lazy to come in for a lock out.

They will retaliate if you have complaints or issues. I was removed from the building intercoms and lost access to let in guest, my cleaning lady, and could no longer provide delivery drivers a code to bring my packages into the building. Management also openly discussed tenants personal details in the most insane disregard for privacy.

I was home for several tenants tours, they will also lie to you about “coming amenities” it’s not worth it.
