Breeders can say some truly wild shit

Arguments surrounding infertility always bother me. I understand this is something couples struggle with (often with more blame on the woman even though both partners can be infertile? Wonder why…) and can be really sad if they always dreamed of having their own children. It’s the people who try to get pregnant for YEARS and try literally everything in the book to get pregnant and post about how desperate and sad they are and how they’ll never have kids…..when adoption is RIGHT THERE.

It’s sucks to be biologically impaired to not be able to have kids when that’s something that you want. However? GET OVER IT. Do you see disabled people constantly complaining online? No? Then you shouldn’t either. It’s the same shit.

Ain’t NO WAY you’re trying for YEARS to get pregnant while consciously avoiding all of the poor children in orphanages and foster care. You know how you want a child? THEYRE RIGHT THERE AND THEY WANT YOU TOO! Most of these assholes are pro life too, so like?? This is what you wanted! Children in orphanages for you to take. Except you don’t want them!

I get into arguments online with some of these pricks who literally say they don’t want to adopt because all children in orphanages and foster care are traumatized and they don’t want to deal with that or have them ‘pass on their trauma to future generations’. So, they’re generalizing all orphans as broken people not worth helping or saving, and then also go on to say they hope those orphans never have kids of their own. These people will literally SHAME anyone who suggests adoption and be outright disgusted by the idea of adoption, as if that’s not the perfect solution to their problem?? They think they are so genetically superior that they have to have their own children?? They spend more on fertility crap than they would by adopting.

I KNOW that adoption isn’t a pure solution for infertility. I know that many kids in foster care can be traumatized or have mental health issues. Some people say adoption is like buying people and relate it to slavery.

Here’s the thing: these children need homes. I don’t know why people are so against adoption when it’s literally just about children who need families? They aren’t allowed to have families because you’re uncomfy with the idea that they get bought? Really?

Add to the fact that these breeders call them all damaged goods unworthy of their help. They want children and those children want families.

I don’t know. These people disgust me. Those who think they HAVE to produce or they’re going to explode disgust me. Spending tens of thousands of dollars to try to get pregnant when you can just adopt a child who wants a home is disgusting. People like that are the reason no one adopted my mom and she tried to kill herself in an orphanage because she felt unwanted.
