Anyone ever been in a chess rut?

I've played chess off and on my entire life since I was 8. I pretty much quit playing competitively by high school. And I found no real push to keep studying/ practicing since the average person doesn't pay my level of chess. Recently my city started a chess club, and while I enjoy it, I now find that I'm in a sort of a chess rut.

I used to be able to think slowly and calmly. More I get frustrated easily and blunder more often. I also know that it's not that the people at this meet are "better" than me. Quite the contrary. I'm hundreds of ratings above most of them. So I thought maybe I should start playing online again. I play dailies and I also play with the bots. I manage to beat above 12-1500 online but in person I'm struggling with 700s? Is this something common? It used to be the opposite where I played better offline.

Also, any tips for getting it off this rut?
