Microwave (~severe)

Hey there ladies and gents,

thinking about getting a microwave in the hopes of reducing time I have to be at the stove, reducing tools and dishes I have to get out, use and wash, being able to quickly defrost some berries or so. I usually have my pre-cooked meals in glass containers that I can heat to 100°C. I think that's it. I'm severe.

Already read some of the posts here but I have some questions:

  • Do you have to take food out of the microwave often to stir it so half of it isn't cold?
  • Do you have a grill or broiler in your microwave and do you actually use that frequently?
  • If you would buy a new one, what would you want different? Bigger? Smaller? Additional functions? Knob instead of button for functions/temperature? ...
