After tonight, Quinn Hughes is...
- Leading all defensemen in points (56)
- Leading all defensemen in even strength points (35)
- Tied for the lead with Werenski in even strength goals among D-men (11)
- Tied for the lead with Makar in game winning goals among D-men (3)
- One point shy of tying for the lead with Makar in power play points (21)
- Leading all defensemen, 6th overall in assists (42)
- Leading all defensemen, 9th overall in points per game (1.24)
And all this despite playing with a much worse supporting cast than Draisaitl, Mackinnon, McDavid or Hellebuyck. Tell me again why this guy is still not being considered a frontrunner for the Hart Trophy? Last I checked, he was still considered a 20-1 underdog, but you have to think it's closer to 10-1 after tonight. Playing this well on a team this mid is what won Theodore the Hart Trophy, after all.
