Candy Crush through Facebook on the Computer

I currently play Candy Crush through Facebook on my iMac computer. When I have Candy Crush open in Facebook, I cannot access my Facebook friends list to ask them to send lives back and forth in Candy Crush. Does anyone have a solution?
