Recommendations for a $2000 car

I am looking for a car. My budget is $2000, and I am new to the city. Can someone recommend where I can get a car with such a low budget? I want something fine that can move me around while I organize myself for a better car.

I am an international student just settling down. I would appreciate any help and/or guidance.
