My group fell in love with root, what’s next?

So I got root almost a month ago, played it about 10 times with my group, now it’s a battle fest whenever we play, everyone is a sweat and is trying to win, just how I like it.

But getting into this hobby, I don’t wanna say that I am bored of root, I have yet to get any expansion other than marauders, but I am looking for my next game!

One of my friends brought scythe and we played, but I was left a little bit disappointed, but that is personal preference purely because I don’t really enjoy games that you have to count how many points each player gets at the end of the game.

So what’s next guys? What’s next in store for me? 😀

Root is the definition of a perfect game for me and my group, so I am surely looking for something that’s similar, I know there’s no game quite like root, but it must have factors like dice, battling, player boards and great visuals.
