Webdev In desperate Need of help!

I'm a web developer and have basically no experience with Blender! I'm currently working on a portfolio page and I want to integrate a 3D model into the website. So far so good, I bought a small model and integrated it into React. Everything worked, great work, the enthusiasm was great! Unfortunately the tree only has 4 wires and I need 5! Because the leaves and the trunk are one wire but I don't have the option to simply put them together in React! So now I have to somehow separate the leaves and the trunk... I have absolutely no idea how! Google is only a semi-good help and YouTube tutorials don't seem to be the real thing for my problem! Can someone please help me?
