Why can’t I use the magazine that came with the blueprint I purchased

I bought the weaver bundle with the gobblegum xm4 mastercraft blueprint and I cannot use the magazine it came with. Everytime I load into a match it resets it to the standard 30 round mag. Even when I choose a different option it rests it. Is this a bug?
