What is the biggest learning lesson you've had from competing or just bodybuilding/fitness in general?

I've been on this journey for over 10 years now- so I've definitely had thousands of lessons that I've had to experience and grow from to get to where I am now- and of course I'm still making mistakes and learning from them.

If I had to think back and choose the biggest one- I'd say it would be doing too much on my own. For example, I thought I knew what was best for my body so I did my own diet/prep diet. Or I thought my posing was awesome so I didn't hire a posing coach. Good lord was I wrong about that one!

I feel like if I had just hired the right coach from the beginning, I would be so much further ahead- and I say right coach because I've made that mistake of hiring the wrong coach and actually setting myself further behind!

Curious what other people think when they reflect on their own paths...
