Big Sur and LA

I am hoping to bike from San Francisco to San Diego in the coming days and was wondering if anyone had an idea of what the road closures are like?

There’s one just south of Big Sur that says motorists are advised to find a different route, but maybe it’s possible to bike through still?

And then there’s the issue of these massive Santa Monica fires. Does anyone have an idea of alternative routes I could take?
