Scent review - Bright Christmas Morning 🎅
Hi there, B&BW pals! I'll be reviewing Bright Christmas Morning for you all today! Let's dive right in!
Scent notes: ripe red berries, blood orange and crisp apple
Bright Christmas Morning is a pretty straightforward fragrance - a fruit punchy blend of generic berry, blood orange (which has a raspberry-like quality to its scent already, so in my opinion there's a little too much berry going on here) and red apple. It's a pleasant scent, but it's not very interesting; I would go so far as to call it kind of boring.
I think that if B&BW wanted to capture the essence of a holiday punch, they could have done a little more with this scent - maybe a little cinnamon or star anise to literally spice things up, or some ginger ale to add a bubbly feel. Maybe add some cranberry to further the Winter vibe? They could have made this scent feel much more festive and multifaceted than what we ended up with.
Bright Christmas Morning doesn't really feel like a holiday scent at all, I wore it quite a lot this past summer, actually. So if you like a flexible scent that you can reach for literally anytime, you'll probably enjoy this, but for my tastes, it's a little too simple. Don't get me wrong, I like simple, straightforward scents, too! I can appreciate and love a more humble fragrance just as much as a complex one.
But Bright Christmas Morning feels...uninspired to me. I personally feel like this scent is best suited to things like hand soap or candles - inoffensive and likeable, if not terribly interesting.
This scent comes in body care, hand soap, Wallflowers, candles, room spray and car fragrance, so if you love Bright Christmas Morning, then you are livin' the good life! As for me, I'll use up my mini mist and enjoy it while it lasts, but I don't think I'll miss it much when it's gone. Bright Christmas Morning is, in a nutshell: pleasant but very forgettable.
