My first mlb auto

Might be a question without a solid answer but when mlb players get their bowman first cards to sign, why is it always the blue 1/150 that gets inscribed with “my first mlb auto” or “my first bowman auto” wonder if anyone might know the reason of origin where this started. kinda makes it like another 1/1 when it could just be inscribed on the actual superfractor.
