Where to pre-order Topps 2025 boxes

Hi - I'm new-ish to the baseball card game so I have some noob questions. I'd like to buy 2025 topps baseball cards for my nephew. I know there is series 1, series 2, the update series, and maybe even series 3 this year? I'm interested in buying a few packs of series 1 when topps releases the new cards in February.

I looked on the topps website and it looks like all of the pre-order packs are sold out. The only remaining items for pre-order are the $1k+ boxes, which are out of my price range.

Should I expect topps to have more pre-orders available on their website soon? Or should I just go into a store (which one?) to grab some when they hit the shelves? Also, which packs are best to buy (hobby, jumbo, others??)?
