Arthur Murray draining my mom's cash?

Hi all,

I'm hoping to get an idea on how much money my mom is spending on dancing. She is in her 60s, retired, and starts an Amazon warehouse manual labor job next week to pay for dance...10 hour shifts overnight...

It may not be any of my business, but I am extremely concerned at the lengths she is going to pay for this. I'd help her with some cash, but I have a feeling my own and my wife's monthly allowance combined isn't even close to what she is spending on dance.

5 group sessions a week and 1 private dance lesson per week is what she's doing.

Short of an estimate, are there any cheaper alternatives to AM? I would love for her to continue doing what she loves, but not at the cost of her health. I'm extremely concerned that she'll fall asleep on the drive home after 10 hours of manual labor at 4am.

FWIW, I have been talking with her about these things, but I don't get any traction. She wants to prove me wrong. I just hope she can stay awake and alert on the road after 10 hours of manual labor at 4am. And not get seriously injured during manual labor in her 60s.

One thing I'm thinking about is saying that I'll help with some monthly expenses IF I can see her budget and IF she's not spending insane amounts of money on dance. But dance has been a touchy subject for years. Now that she's retired, it's becoming more of an issue because her income is reduced (but only by like, 900 a month - she was making 6 figures before retirement).
