Anybody not quickload when you fail to copy a spell?
I don't load if I fuck something up and try to keep game over screens to a minimum but I can't help but feel the failing to copy a spell mechanic is bogus.
Anybody just eat it? Am I in the minority?
Edit: I will confess that I had not twigged to the importance of potions for increasing scribing chances. I'm so used to later editions that tie int to spell slots, save DC's and spell attack that I didn't realize that that is the purpose of those potions.
I still think it's a dumb mechanic and the number of people that eliminate it with a mod and feel no guilt whatsoever is telling.
I would consider playing a run where I eat the failures though.
