Ranger isn't fun??

I chose to play a ranger except their is no gear for rangers. The only bow I found online is 38k gold which is insane and the only armor you have to kill your killer to get and I sparred him. I'm currently getting wrecked on every encounter. I'm at the emerald stair fighting the tree queen (I forgot what they are called) and if anyone knows any gear I could get to make life easier please lmk thank you.
