To disclose or not to disclose?

What are your experiences of disclosing your autism at work?

I don’t know how to explain it but I don’t want people to treat me as “different” though I would like empathy and accommodations - I cannot articulate this in another way

I also know that the law dictates you can’t be discriminated against because of a disability; however, I’m worried that accommodations and awareness would lead to unconscious biases would be knock on effect.

I work in a large corporate company btw
