PC->Mixer has a ground loop. Is a ground-lifting 2ch DI the cheapest way to send clean audio?
title is basically full summary. i need to send audio from a PC but after trying out a variety of stereo to mono splitters i found out it's just a ground loop issue. currently thinking of getting a cheap ground-lifting DI (Behringer DI20 looks good) and hooking up 2 XLR cables instead. this would run me around 40€ / stereo channel (location: germany). this is fine right now.
any other suggestions? in the long run i'm planning on hooking up a lot more stereo lines so this could get expensive pretty quickly.
