Why Isayama destroyed Aot by adding this post credit scene

As a die hard aot fan i truly believe that adding this scene was not necessary. I think isayama just wanted to satisfy the fandom who couldnt accept the canon ending. Literally no one knows what this credit scene now means it just brings up confusion to everyone. Like yeah its from the school castes but still no matter where i read about it on social media people are confused and everyone is saying different things about what this scene could mean or if it is canon or not. Why show the tree in the end ? Why they say titans lived 100 years ago ? Also goth mikasa and armin are shown in the anime in memory shards aswell as in the manga. So maybe it really is a different timeline connected via paths. But maybe its also just a gag post credit scene not to be taken seriously just showing how they live a peaceful life and react to the aot story from a 3rd view as us viewers ? I dont even know what to think anymore , isayama i hate you for adding this scene just let the anime farewell in peace god damnit what are u doing , i bet he will be adding more sh*t in the future to milk it. The thing which annoys me the most is that this scene isnt giving any answers it just creates more questions and question the aot story as a whole like why would you do that to a finished story he just confuses everyone for no reason there are so many questions i dont even know what to say , first time im truly disappointed by isayama as a die hard aot fan ggs

If anyone can clear my head would be much appreciated
