Is anyone connecting to the server yet?

I saw yesterday after the 0.1.1 update a couple people said they connected to the server for a few seconds but then got booted. I would really like to get the academy license and economy started so I can start stockpiling some cash. Probably wait till that's live at this point as I have plenty of other Sims that offer exactly what this does.
