So even though I'm running AC 1 on my crummy laptop with low settings walking into Damascus on horseback overlooking the city atop the hill went so hard. I'm playing the ezio trilogy alongside it on my playstation and the only thing that remotely matches that aura is how ezio burns the Borgia towers.

Another thing I liked a lot was how the side activities inform the main quest which is something I feel AC 2 and Brotherhood misses with how little ur side quests effect the main quests except in a cosmetic/making fighting easier sense. I do enjoy the set piece like structure of 2 and Brotherhood but the improvisional almost open ended way AC 1 plays is very interesting. Like BoTW tho a lot of these side activities I feel would be better off discovered by the player than dots on the map as that makes it feel like a checklist instead of a game.

For context I've played only the Ezio trilogy on my old Xbox 360 when I was a kid so there's a lot I might be forgetting. But all in all I'm really enjoying AC1. I seriously hope ppl give it a shot even though it's old
