Areas to stay?

Traveling to Vancouver at the end of June. Looking at staying in an air bnb but have no idea of an area to choose. It’ll be two 30. Year olds with a 2 year old and two 55 year olds.

Looking for: - good, authentic (not chainy) food, breweries etc - good non chainy shops etc - walkable (don’t mind getting transportation )

Looking at Yale town or kiltsano
