looking for a 3-4 day itinerary in vancouver (without a car)

Hey everyone! My friend and I are visiting Vancouver for 3 or 4 nights (still deciding) in May or June and are looking for recommendations on how to make the most of our trip. We’ll be staying near Yaletown and won’t have a car, so we’ll be relying on public transit and Ubers. We’re hoping for a cost-friendly itinerary while still getting to see as much as possible.

Here’s what we have in mind so far: Granville Island & Stanley Park – We’d love to dedicate a full day to these. Any recommendations on which day of the week is best for either?

Kitsilano Beach & Gastown – Hoping to explore both at some point. Would love any insights on the best way to structure our day around these.

A Mountain Hike – We want to dedicate a full day to a good hike with amazing mountain views. We’re semi-experienced hikers, but only in bear-free areas (we’ve only ever encountered black bears in Ontario, so grizzlies make us a bit nervous). Ideally, we’re looking for a 6-7 hour hike that isn’t too remote but still offers a great outdoor experience. Any suggestions on hikes that are accessible without a car?

Other Must-Sees – Are there any other spots we should definitely check out? When I last visited, I did the Sea to Sky Gondola and some of the trails there, but we’re looking for something a bit less touristy this time.

Would love any advice on how to structure our days, as well as recommendations on what’s worth seeing. Thanks in advance!
