Bisexual man being against gay marriage?

Was just chatting with a "nice" bisexual man here who apparently celebrated the fact that some states in the US are trying to take down gay marriage.

How do these homophobic bisexuals even exist or reconcile with that? Like whay kind of mental gymnastic is that? Internalized homophobia?
