What prevented you or still prevents you from coming out? Was it worth it?

For me, I don’t I regret coming out, but I do wish I could have waited a bit longer. I came out when I was 16, well rather dragged out the closet by a friend of my parents who saw me online. Granted I shouldn’t have been online at 16 looking back but these things happen.

Anyways, I’ve always wondered if it would’ve been more beneficial to come out later in life due to living in an extremely religious environment and the fact that you’re viewed in a different light.

I also feel like I missed the part of messing around with other closeted guys lol
