Homophobia from Islam and Muslims

Last few days have seen a series of post on this sub regarding the rising homophobia from Muslim immigrants in the West. I thought I might share my own experience too. I am from India and we have 20% Muslims. They have the fastest growing population and majority in many cities as well.

Homophobia in my country comes from all religions. But the one from Islamic and Christian community is just different. Like I still remember when the Supreme Court of India decriminalized Homosexuality, only Muslim and Christian organisations filed review petitions against it. Non-Abrahamic religions don't have specific laws for punishing us. But Islam and Christianity do.

I really hope India never becomes Muslim majority.
