Fitness First vs Virgin Active in Singapore

I have this observation that i would like to bring it to the table to discuss with people who know what is going on.

I have been with Fitness First for past 2 years and currently with Virgin Active.

This is how i feel… i realise FF staff are welcoming and often look happy. It looks like the management treat them well so they can act this way. And most of the class instructor i have encountered are genuinely approachable ( i know, cos i have lived a long life to discern real and fake).

VA staff often looks stressed and annoyed, it is like they are bound with tons of expectation from the coy and like the management team don’t treat them with a lot of respect kind. Or they have to face alot of idiotic customers inside VA so they have accepted this fate. And the class instructor just put on an approachable facade but deep down, i can see they just act to put up a professional image only. ‘Their class are definitely good and top class, but it just didn’t feel right’

I wonder anyone else share my thoughts…
