no rehire list

Basically at my last job at asda I left a day before my notice date so I think they put me on a no hire list. I have applied to a different asda and all the documents have been signed but they have asked me about why I might be on the list and I told them. They have sent an appeal just wondering what the appeal process is like if anyone knows how likely I'll be to getting the job
