Trying to watch "Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian" but...

Every time she actually speaks Russian, the subtitles just say "Alya speaking in Russian," so I keep missing the joke. I'm streaming through Crunchyroll subscription on Prime Video, but ep1 on Crunchyroll's youtube channel translates Alya's Russian just fine so this is really bugging me. Is it because Amazon's subtitles seem different than Crunchyroll's?
