Another post about Air Venturi Avenger mods, looking for advise for max accuracy vs starlings @ range.

I've got an Avenger in .22 I picked up specifically to target starlings @ our homestead. Most shots come at a steep angle in the 25-50 yd range.

I've got a small 3D printing business with a high quality printer, so I have tried to DIY as much as possible, but I think several of the models available leave something to be desired.

This suppressor is VERY good at cutting noise, not sure what it does to accuracy: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5269038 I've also got a barrel band. Currently running a UTG 3-12 that I actually like very much.

I've experimented with pellets from 15's to giant fat slugs, seems like 15's-18's seems like the sweet spot. Flat, 25 yds, from a rest, I'm stacking whole mags in a nickel easy peasy. Angles seem very problematic and also occasionally shots go totally wild, I'm assuming bent pellet shrouds on that.

So now that the background info is complete, I'd love to hear your input:

  1. Mods for absolute maximum ridiculous accuracy.
  2. Your favorite pellet for birb schwacking
  3. Regulator Pressure - currently I'm at 2200 after watching this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2D_Zml_2wd4&t=3450s&pp=ygUaYWlyIHZlbnR1cmkgYXZlbmdlciB0dW5pbmc%3D
  4. Trigger Adjustment - less important, just curious, I realize that this is for me to test but I'm curious where YOU landed.
  5. What magazines are you using? I've had one fail and one kinda freak out.
