Hosting a displaced family - cutting their stay short for other guests?
Hi, my friend is an Airbnb Superhost and is hosting a displaced family who lost their home in the LA fires at a discount. They want to extend their stay, but there are other guests coming next month.
My friend feels that cancelling on the other guests and allowing the family to stay another month is the right decision, even if they lose their Superhost status with Airbnb. However this is also an inconvenience to the other guests - finding new accommodations in only a couple weeks.
How would you handle this situation? Ask the other guests to cancel?
Thanks 🙏
