Hurricane Milton
The current path of Milton is headed directly over our house in Florida as a category 3 hurricane. Obviously we are going to cancel and refund the guest who was going to check in tomorrow, but now airbnb support is saying we have to pay cancellation fees because hurricanes are not considered “major disruptive events” per airbnb policy. What do we do? It kind of feels like the only option is to pay the fee? Just seems so wrong to do that to us for something completely out of our control.
