Is it just me or is smiling friends overrated? (someone please convince me to like this show I want to like it so bad)

I have been recommended by friends, you guys, and even IMDb ratings to watch smiling friends. I watched the entire season 1, but didn’t enjoy it. I don’t have any new adultswim dark comedys left, so I’m pretty sad that I don’t like it. Is it better in season 2? Should I just rewatch season 1 because I’m crazy for not liking it?
