About to start Visanne/ Diogenist - anxious about bleeding

Hi everyone! Three years ago I was diagnosed with stage 3 and 4 deep infiltrating endometriosis and a month ago was also diagnosed with moderate adenomyosis. For the last month or so I've been bleeding almost non stop despite being on the back to back combined pill.

My pain has been excruciating again so I've been pescribed visanne and am going to start on sunday but my specialist did say I could experience worsened pain and heavier bleeding in the first week or so.

I'm wanting to make sure I'm ready for if the pain/ bleeding does get worse, especially as I'm currently bleeding quite heavily but wanted to ask whether anyone had any side effects such as these when they first started the medication?
