How did your husbands act after jail?

My husband is currently in jail for domestic abuse against me. We're on a no-contact order and I go through ups and downs for sure; sometimes I'll miss him especially because of our small children and other times I feel anger. Up until the incident, he truly seemed like he hated me in every sense and I don't know why. If you've been in this situation, how did your husbands act when they got out of jail? Did they feel remorse?? Were they more angry??
