From Mod Dwarf to Zoia

Hi everyone!

Today I'm picking up a second hand Zoia for 300euros! I've been using my Mod Dwarf for three years now and I enjoy it BUT I hate that I can't edit patches without connecting to a screen... The workflow also isn't very fast due to its visual nature. Not hating on it and probably keeping mine BUT wondering if there's other people here who've switched from the nod devices ecosystem to Zoia and if y'all have some tips and could answer some questions for me maybe?

How big is the CPU difference? From what I've seen from online info it looks like the Mod Dwarf is more powerful BUT from my experience lots of plugins aren't properly optimised. Especially the beta plugins, so it might just balance out.

Are there any differences between hardware generations of the Zoia? With alot of companies a gen 1 one digital pedal will have some more issues than a latest version. So would I have to look out for certain tells?

I'm going to be using the Zoia mainly as an FX processor. My thought is it's much more affordable to buy a Zoia than to have three or four chase bliss/red panda etc pedals (no slight to those amazing companies btw). So yeah is that actually true? Can the Zoia truly do everything those pedals can? Does the Zoia do FFT style effects like chase bliss lossy for instance?

What patches would y'all recommend for all the weird glitchy, spectral, dissonant, synthy etc type sounds?

There's four pedals/effects that I'm hoping to recreate or find? Is there a mutron bi-phase recreation? Aguilar Filter Twin? Poly pitch shifter? Bouncing ball delays?

Excited to join the community!
