“Executive” play through
First of let me start by saying that I love this game.
Right now I don’t have the space to use my HOTAS and mouse flight controls do t work for me for combat, so I’m scratching my “new year, new play through” itch with a change to how I play. I’m enjoying it so I thought I’d share the idea.
- Pick any start you like. Cheese space flies if you like.
- As soon as the game starts, fly to the closest station and dock.
- Hire a pilot. Or a marine to serve as a pilot. From now on you may not pilot any ship.
- Wait on the station, giving orders to your ship.
- Make money, build stations, play your game, but do all of it as a passenger or a dock rat or sat in the fancy chair in the HQ Office.
I’m enjoying this one for the change of pace. No SETA, so you have to do it all in real time.
