How to play the games?

So im intrested in playing the wolfenstein games, i have the new order and the new colosseus. I just now found out that there are more games than i thought, so how should i go about it?

I have a ps4 and i have no intention of playing/finding games that arent already on the platform / ps store and also im excluding the vr games, but im open to watching the recap vids of the ”essential” previous games, if there are any.

Which brings me to my next question, what are the ”essentials” for this game series because im kinda lost with it and what games should i play and in what order ext

Like for example you can play skyrim without playing oblivion and you can play fallout 4 without playing new vegas ext, is it the same thing here oorrr? Thx beforehand
