questions about pups & dispersals

so pretty much i have too many mouths to feed and am ready for some of them to branch off. ive already had quite a few puppies in previous litters disperse, but i want a more hands on approach. i know sometimes dispersal wolves will approach your pups and try to court them, or at least thats what ive heard. i follow scents for dispersals for my pups, but the dispersals never seem interested, instead going into fight/flight mode. is there something i can do to make them want to take a pup off my hands ? or is it just intimidating for them when five wolves run up to them?
