Upgrading SD Card?

Hey. :) So I have a modded Wii U with a 32 GB SD card, but I'm wondering: if the need ever arose, would I be able to upgrade to a 64 GB card without much trouble? I assume all I'd have to do is transfer the data on my existing SD card onto my computer, format the new SD Card, transfer all the info over, then put it back in my Wii U, right?
