Sedentary vs active & adding exercise calories

Ok so I’m using LoseIt! and not sure which option to choose to be most effective.

If I choose “not active” it puts my recommended calories at about 1,700.

If I choose “somewhat active” it puts me at 1,900 calories.

Should I choose not active/sedentary, but then allow it to give me “credit” for exercise calories?

Or maybe choose “somewhat active” but NOT “count” my exercise calories?

I exercise about 5 days/week for 30-60 minutes.

I do know that most calorie estimates for exercise are WAYY off, plus currently I do not have a fitness tracker watch.
