[Chronographe Swisse] not a beloved brand but so pretty!

Just purchased for £1k (inc shipping and duties) do you think I over paid? A 37mm 18k gold 50s era Chronographe Swisse. Works well but has a swapped crown. Why don't these classics get more love they are beautiful watches? I know they were the Seiko of the 50s but the designs are impressive and keeps great time.

Can't beat that vintage watch look.
