Brave Conquest Efficiency

Do you guys feel that for Brave Conquest it's more effective to farm artifact meteorites or gear? I'm right at stage 13 for artifact raid and 14 for gear raids. So it feels like great is the way to go since I'm a little higher stage. But the upper end of meteorite drops is sometimes worth double or more points per run.
