Do pity timers carry over?

Basically what the title said.... I feel like I've summoned at LEAST 50-60 times this week. A couple epics, but a legendary is more of a dream at this point. I'm rocking the event (for my level, at least). Just curious if I save until next summon event, I'll still have that "pity" %
