Meta builds are always going to matter less than your ability to simply... move

In the wake of all the Faceoff toxicity, I'd like to remind everyone that the difference between meta and off-meta in this level of content is very slim. Not only that, but it's 2024. Between all the strong weapons, arcanes, bond mods... you can turn almost anything into a speed-clearing build. You cannot tell, by merely glancing at equipment, whether or not a player is gonna perform well.

I have been running Inaros, of all frames, in faceoff. With Nepheri of all melee weapons. I regularly have people quit, start of the match, because Im running Inaros. I see all these toxic Volts, Gausses, Saryns, Titanias complaining that I'm running a "mid" frame. And yknow what? Most of the time, I'm well ahead of them, leaving empty tiles behind me. Half the time, they're barely touching the gas cans. Half the time, I kill two of the assassin targets before these toxic meta players even get there.

What I'm trying to say is that quitting/throwing because of another player's loadout is stupid. Warframe is more of a power fantasy than it ever has been. The vast majority of builds when built even decently are going to be more than capable of doing this content efficiently.

What matters is your ability to get from point A to B quickly. Slide, bullet jump, roll, slide, repeat. It's literally a race gamemode. Doesn't matter if it takes you a second to nuke a tile if it takes you ten to leave it.

Even then, we get the same rewards at the end anyways! There's no point in being toxic! Hell, its Warframe. You are overpowered. You can literally just carry
